LinkedIn

LinkedIn is similar to a Facebook, but it’s not for socializing, it’s strictly business.  LinkedIn helps you create links to help your business career.  LinkedIn helps you connect with other people and exchange ideas, knowledge, and opportunities with a broad network of professionals.  You can use your connections to meet other people.  It makes job hunting a little easier.  Job seekers can review the profile of hiring managers and discover which of their existing contacts can introduce them.  Users can now follow different companies and can get notification about the new joining and offers available.  On the site you can post a resume for others to see. When you use LinkedIn you can ask your connections (friends and colleagues who you can trust) for solid feedback on different companies.  LinkedIn can be compared to a road map.  You are driving a car to a destination and you need a way to get there successfully; LinkedIn is that road map, only the road you’re on is your career.  LinkedIn can be used for finding Investors, Marketing, and other stuff.  There really are not too many reasons to use LinkedIn other than for business.  For any other person to use it would be pointless.  This isn’t for socializing; this is a way to organize your colleagues and friends to help benefit your career.  LinkedIn can really help the modern day business man or woman in achieving a successful career.  LinkedIn is a good idea in my opinion.  You could be connected with a friend who you did not know is connected with a CEO of a major corporation looking for help in your field of expertise. Now it’s as simple as getting your connection to introduce you to an employer.  LinkedIn can help a lot of people and should be used by more business men and women.  After college I think LinkedIn would be a good idea to use it could potentially help me get a job that will make me a very successful person.
